My Oarlock Won’t Connect
Scenario | Resolution Steps |
XPod is asleep | Shake or swing the oarlock to wake it up. When it wakes up the battery indicator light should illuminate
Unclip the XPod and then re-attach it. The battery indicator light should illuminate |
XPod needs to be reset | Place the XPod on a charger for 2 minutes. Then replace it on the oarlock and try again |
XPod is out of battery | Place the XPod on a charger. If charging, battery indicator light will illuminate |
Bluetooth connection has failed | Swap the XPod with another XPod. If the Oarlock connects with a different XPod, the XPod is the issue. Place it on a charger to reset it, and inspect the contacts for damage |
