How to Reprocess Missing Data

Step-by-step guide to reprocessing a session when force curves, charts, or seat data aren't showing up

Why Is My Data Missing?

If a session finishes uploading but some seats are missing force curves, handle velocity charts, or other graphs, this is usually caused by a processing error — not a data loss issue. The raw data is already synced from the monitors; reprocessing simply tells the system to re-run the calculations and repopulate the charts.

Common symptoms that call for a reprocess:

  • Force curves appear blank for one or more seats
  • Handle velocity or boat velocity charts are empty
  • Seat data is missing even though scalar metrics (like split and rate) show up correctly
  • Only one seat's curve appears when others are selected

Good news: Reprocessing does not delete or overwrite any collected data. It's always safe to try.

How to Reprocess a Session

ℹ️

Tip: You do not need the physical monitors present or powered on to reprocess. The data was already synced when the session ended.

  1. Navigate to the Crews tab in the web app and find the session with missing data

  1. Open the options menu by clicking the three dots icon on the right side of the table
  1. Select Reprocess from the dropdown menu

  1. Wait a minute or so for the data to reprocess
  1. Refresh the page and when it reloads check to make sure the missing data has populated
💡

If these steps don’t solve the problem the first time, try reprocessing again!
