XBoat Smart Oarlocks are compatible with 13mm diameter pins and most modern rigger construction. Please verify your pin diameter before placing your order.

C-Cup Clearance

XBoat will fit in most C-Cup riggers! Details for how it fits are listed below.

Sculling

The Oarlock and XPod need 30 mm (1 3/16”) behind the pin to rotate freely in a C-Cup

The area with the least clearance is typically where the bottom of the XPod passes the cup

The above shows the clearance necessary for a scull oarlock to fit in a C-Cup

Sweeping

The Oarlock and XPod need 31.5 mm (1 1/4”) behind the pin to rotate freely in a C-Cup

The area with the least clearance is typically where the bottom of the XPod passes the cup

If the Oarlocks need to be lowered than the Angle Reference allows, the magnet can be mounted beneath the C-Cup (shown in image to the right)
