Status Bar
The status bar shows important information for operating the Rowing Monitor
GPS Signal Strength
🟢 = Strong
🟠 = Medium
🔴 = Weak
Touchscreen Lock
When the lock icon is visible, the touch screen will not respond to touch input. This makes the Rowing Monitor operable in wet conditions
Home Button
Tap the XBoat icon to navigate to the home screen at any time
Recording Statuses
PAUSED : timers and averages stop incrementing, however data continues recording
READY TO ROW : a new interval has been started, timers will start once a stroke is detected
Recording Indicator
A subtle pulsing dot confirms that data is being recorded
Interval Counter
The number of intervals that have been recorded. To start a new interval:
- Press and hold the Right Key
- Program a workout with multiple ROWING blocks
Boat Id
Used to differentiate between crews when recording XBoat sessions in multiple shells of the same class concurrently. Boat Id is set during oarlock configuration and can be modified in the Settings Menu
Seat Number
The position in the boat where the monitor is installed. Seat is set during oarlock configuration and can be modified in the Settings Menu
Assigned Athlete
When logged into a team, Pro users may select an athlete from their roster to assign to a Rowing Monitor. This automatically tags uploaded data to this athlete’s XBoat team member profile
Rowing Monitor Battery
The charge remaining on the Rowing Monitor. Please allocate approximately 10% - 15% charge per hour of planned rowing
