Data Rates

To change the data rate, go to the settings menu and select Auto, 20Hz or 50Hz. Then unclip and re-connect your XPods to the oarlocks

XBoat supports 3 data rate modes

Allow XBoat to determine the best data rate, balancing data resolution and battery life by dynamically changing the data rate based on the stroke rate

Our highest data rate, capturing high resolution details of every stroke. At 50hz you will be able to see small changes in force that can be smoothed together at lower data rates

Our most efficient data rate, optimizing for long battery life, without sacrifcing accuracy of key metrics like catch angle, slip, power, and work. At 20hz, the force curve will appear smoother
